The men seen in a viral video eating bread with feaces as portrayed in a viral video have to mow been identified as comedians who were shooting a comedy skit to highlight the repercussions of sakawa or yahoo yahoo.
Three young men named Great Egbuchulam, Solomon Mbata and Arinze Mbah are collectively called Gunny Embassy.
They denied being yahoo boys or having anything to do with internet fraud after an anonymous passerby recorded the video.
They admitted the video was gross but had no choice but to portray that way to paint the intended imagery.
“We were not eating faeces, just as many persons believe. We were portraying the extent to which many persons, especially youths, have gone in a bid to acquire wealth,” Egbuchulam said.
