Shatta Wale made Burna Boy popular by featuring him on his ‘Hosanna’ song in 2017.

Shatta Wale in 2017 contributed immensely to the career of Burna Boy by making him popular after he featured him on his ‘Hosanna’ song.

The song at that time was the biggest banger on the airwaves and also won the hearts of many music lovers at that time.

On record, Burna Boy at the time was regarded as an ‘underground artist’ compared to Shatta Wale who was on fire in Ghana and Africa.

The song currently has over 5 million streams on YouTube, a minor figure but a huge one at the time it was released on YouTube when the views started counting.

As it stands now, Burna Boy is far gone conquering the world and Africa at large. It is sad to note that Shatta Wale isn’t at the moment anywhere near the same star he once made popular.

Burna Boy has now received his BET and Grammys recognition and has also had extra successful album releases locally and internationally.

His international collaboration archives look enticing a bit ahead of Shatta Wale.

However, Celebrities Buzz believes that the African Dancehall king Shatta Wale will soon pull magic to level up or surpass Burna Boy.
