How I started barbing
According to precious, she went into barbing because she wanted to stand out at all costs. She said:
“My journey started 2014. Then I was still contemplating on joining the military or learning a skill. Being the only girl. My family was against me joining the military even after I passed the screening.
“So I’m like if I can’t be a soldier I should be able to learn a skill I can be dedicated to. I have worked with a few barbershops before starting mine. I opened my own salon last year in December.”
Precious wants to go back to school
Precious who is from Orlu, Imo state said though she started off rough, she is making progress and succeeding.
She also said she plans to go back to school next year as she is an SSCE holder. Her words:
“I’m an SSCE holder. I wasn’t privileged enough to further my education. I’m planning on going back next year.
“I started off on a rough roll. But gradually is paying off so yes I have my little success story too.”
