The University of Ghana will be implementing the double track education model for the next academic year (2020-2021)
This becomes necessary because of the coronavirus pandemic as the University Authority wouldn’t want the campus and lecture halls to be crowded.
Another reason is the late WASSCE exams, the main examination which produces first-year students of the University.
With the University of Ghana proposed double track, level 200 students will have their first semester from November to January while level 100 and 300 stay at home.
In February, the newly admitted level 100 students and the final year level 300 students will be on campus for their respective first semester which will end in April.
Then the level 200 will return to campus for their 2nd semester late April to late June.
The 2nd semester of level 100 and level 300 final year students will span from July to September.
