Ghanaian gospel act and Evangelist, Diana Asamoah has been summoned by the Ga Traditional Council following her comment about the Homowo festival.
It would be vividly recalled that Evangelist Diana Asamoah stated in a Facebook live video that the strength of God would ensure that the celebration of the Homowo festival will be halted in Accra.
Well, her comments landed her into trouble after the Ga Traditional Council reacted by saying that her comments are defamatory, adding that such a provocative remark has the potential to foment strife in Ghana.
Although she rendered a public apology to the Ga Traditional Council for her comments on their traditional festival, she was summoned on Monday by the authorities of the council.
In a video circulating on social media, the Evangelist was seen in a sober mood, kneeling in front of the council to ask for their forgiveness.
She was accompanied by some men of God and other associates to plead with the council on their behalf. Some members of the Ghana Police Service were also present at the meeting.
