Blakk Rasta, a reggae singer, believes many Ghanaian musicians have written better songs than Black Sherif’s “Kwaku The Traveller,” but haven’t gotten enough attention.

The former Zylofon FM reggae anchor stated the song’s worldwide popularity may suggest Black Sherif has a particular favour on him.

He instructed ‘Blacko’ to experiment with different approaches to showcase his artistry.

“I’ve listened to some of his songs, and they sound the same,” he remarked.

In its first month, Kwaku the Traveller received over 75 million streams. The song, produced by Joker Nharnah, hit #1 on the Apple Music Charts in Ghana and Nigeria.

Shazam claimed the song was most searched on the App that same month.

No. 1 on Triller, No. 1 on Deezer and No. 1 on Boomplay Hot Trending 100. No. 1 on Spotify Viral 50.
