A video from the ceremony that has gone viral involves the speech of the Valedictorian, Ndze’dzenyuy Lemfon Karl making a rendition of Black Sherif’s Kwaku The Traveller.

In his speech he sang: Deadlines. Of course we missed them. Who never missed them? Hands in the air. No hands. Still I can’t believe. You know what I mean. We were young. What do you expect from me?

Black Sherif upon seeing the viral tweet responded saying: Big up yourself, Karl! Salute
